最近都為了這戴爾新機種二煩惱,Ubuntu不能直接安裝來跟Vista做dual boot,應該是顯示器還沒有被Ubuntu支援到,網絡上也很少這方面的資料,終于讓我看到說用Ubuntu 7.10 tribe 5成功的例子,特地下載了beta版本的alternative CD 還有平常的桌面CD,燒了出來,放進去,啟動電腦,bingo!可以了!
partition要自己弄好,我是用XP的CD來做partition的,在這電腦的bios要做一些設定,就是把flash cache module關掉,還有把Sata的設定從AHCI換成ATA,這樣XP才能partition.
