不能啟動視窗

那天朋友打電話來說他的XP不能啟動了，熒幕上只給了這個
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt : \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair

我上網找了一些解決方案，網上很多方法，結果我看到一個教我在recovery console打上chkdsk就解決了，不用跟著那些麻煩的手續
